What is meant to be doxxed?

“Doxxed” means that someone’s private or personal information has been publicly revealed, typically without their consent. In the context of Web3 and cryptocurrency, being “doxxed” often refers to when the identities of project team members are made public.

A doxxed team implies that the team behind a project has disclosed their real identities, which can build trust within the community as it shows transparency and accountability. However, in general internet use, being doxxed can have negative implications, as it might lead to privacy violations or personal safety risks.
