Aptos Borgs is one of the emerging builder-driven communities on Aptos, focused on developing products, tools, and experiences that strengthen the ecosystem and attract new users to the chain. In this interview, the Aptos Borgs team shares how the project started, why they chose Aptos as their home, and how they plan to contribute to the future of NFTs, culture, and on-chain innovation.
Let’s dive in and explore the full conversation together.
Neşe: What made you choose Aptos as the home for Aptos Borgs?
Borgs: When we started thinking about building our own project, we explored Ethereum and Solana deeply. We’ve been active users of both ecosystems especially Sol and one thing became very clear to us:
Most ecosystems today are driven only by money, hype, and quick flips.
If you can fill pockets, you’ll get support. If not, your idea doesn’t matter, your vision doesn’t matter attention disappears the moment the mint ends or rewards stop.
That’s not what we wanted.
We weren’t looking for a chain just to “launch a project.” We were looking for a home a culture.
And when we entered Aptos something clicked immediately.
Here we found:
• Real communities people who stay active, loyal, and supportive even in hard times
• Builders who care more about innovation than hype
• An ecosystem that uplifts new founders instead of ignoring them
On Aptos, it doesn’t matter if you’re early or new.
What matters is:
Are you building? Are you serious? Are you legit? And if the answer is yes the ecosystem shows up for you.
Even the Aptos Foundation team Angel, Alex, Sneezy supported us from day one. We’ve never seen founders connect this directly with communities, listen to feedback, and genuinely uplift builders.
That’s why we chose Aptos.
Not for a flip.
Not for a quick experiment.
But because we wanted to build something long-term and meaningful and Aptos is the only chain that aligns with that vision.
Neşe: Can you tell us about your project and its main objectives within the Aptos ecosystem?
Borgs: Aptos Borgs was created with one core objective: To build products and experiences that bring the next wave of degens, creators, and builders to Aptos. Every ecosystem has its own native platforms the tools that make onboarding easy, fun, and familiar.
Aptos doesn’t have that yet.
So we’re building it.
Our goal is to:
• Think outside the box
• Create user-friendly. degen-friendly. no-learning-curve utilities
• Attract multichain users ETH, SOL, SUI, Base into Aptos
• Give them something fresh they can’t find anywhere else
We’re building a complete ecosystem of tools that revive NFT culture. reward participation, and create reasons for users to stay active on-chain.
Borgs is not just an NFT project.
It’s a builder hub a utility hub and a culture hub for Aptos.
Neşe: Aptos Borgs positions itself as an “NFT-driven incubator.” How does this incubation model actually work?
Borgs: When we entered Aptos, we noticed something important: NFT energy had slowed down. Only a few active communities remained. Builders had ideas but most never launched because of:
• No team
• No artist
• No strategy
• No marketing
• No dev support
• No funds
• No confidence
So we asked ourselves: How do we remove all the barriers for serious builders on Aptos?
And our solution became the Borgs incubation model.
Here’s how it works:
• A builder comes to us with an idea
• They don’t need a team
• They don’t need money
• They don’t need a plan
• They don’t need experience
We provide:
• Developers
• Artists
• Community managers
• Mods
• Marketing support
• Full launch strategies
• Treasury-backed assistance
• Ecosystem networking
• Exposure
• Everything needed to go from idea → launch
And we charge zero upfront.
The community votes on which projects to incubate, unless the idea is too big then we move instantly.
We’re solving every single problem that stops new founders from building.
Our mission is to revitalize Aptos NFTs and bring new builders, new communities, and new products to the ecosystem.
Neşe: What’s one thing about your project that would surprise people who aren’t familiar with it?
Borgs: Most people think Borgs is “just an incubator.”
But that’s only 10% of what we’re building.
We already have:
• A staking platform (cold staking with lock timers)
• A fully on-chain raffle system with randomized verifiable results
• Points-based rewards that actually matter
• A casino platform in development with crash coinflip leaderboards airdrops and on-chain fairness
• A full multiplayer Ludo game (1v1, 2v2, 3v3, 4v4) a game played by 2B+ people globally now coming to Web3 for the first time
Every result on our platforms is 100% on-chain.
No backend manipulation.
No trust issues.
Pure transparency.
We’re combining culture + fun + rewards + transparency. And no ecosystem has this mix yet.
Neşe: What’s the funniest or most unexpected thing that’s happened during development?
Borgs: Honestly, the funniest and most unexpected thing is how the core team came together.
Jarod and Digital Bag Degen had never even chatted before one random DM turned into a full partnership, and now we’re building an entire ecosystem together.
And another funny thing:
Our founder Jarod has been sick like 10 times in the last 6 months. We keep joking someone cursed him. Every time we plan a big milestone boom, hospital. But he still keeps building nonstop. It’s become a running meme in our community.
Neşe: What are your future plans?
Borgs: Our future plans are big honestly big enough that even we sometimes get scared of our vision.
Here’s what’s coming:
Phase 1 (current phase):
• Finalize casino (crash, coinflip, loyalty system)
• Launch the Ludo multiplayer game
• Complete BoviniaX mint
• Grow staking + raffles to scale volume
Phase 2:
We roll out a completely new product something no ecosystem has built before.
A product that can:
• Start a new meta across NFTs
• Revive NFT culture across chains
• Attract huge cross-chain traffic
• Give utility to every NFT project, not just ours
• Bring back excitement like 2021 NFT era
• Become a core primitive for NFT trading and liquidity
We’re not revealing it yet because:
• We’re still too early
• We need more backing before announcing
• It’s a concept that needs trust, reputation, and execution But when we reveal it, it will be the talk of every ecosystem.
A big thank you to the Aptos Borgs team for joining us in this edition of Move the Mic.
