Aptos vs Monad?

There is an interesting situation around Aptos and Monad. Aptos employee accuse the Monad team of plagiarizing their code, while the founder of Monad denies everything.
This raises the question: if the code is available in open source, is its use considered plagiarism? Or is it not just about code, but about ideas, architecture, approach?
I’m interested in your opinion!

If the codes are open source, why would they be stolen? Open source means that everyone can benefit from them. But if he used the complete codes as he received them; then it would not be nice.

I saw it too and wondered about it, a conflict is brewing. But my problem is that I’m not technically savvy enough to figure it out on my own…

I agree, great opinion! As history shows, usually the pioneers of their craft win, Aptos doesn’t adopt the pace, it sets the pace!
