Updates on the JamboPhone

Over the last several weeks, many in the Aptos Community have been excited about the JamboPhone from JamboTechnology and the company’s partnership with Aptos. A few posts have been made about the JamboPhone by community managers and ambassadors like Ahmed and Sonji.

Many in the community ordered the phone and have been curious about when it may be shipping. I also ordered the phone and I can say that I contacted the Jambo Team and inquired with them about shipping. They did say it would be 15-90 days for delivery. Their email reply is shared here verbatim:

"All JamboPhones will be delivered between 15-90 days as mentioned in the product and checkout page. You will receive an email notification once it has been shipped out.

Thank you for your patience as we have been flooded with interest in the JamboPhone recently. Our team has been working around the clock to ensure we are delivering JamboPhones to our customers as soon as possible. We appreciate your continued support of our vision to expand web3 adoption across all emerging markets globally!"

On March 8th, JamboTechnology posted some updates concerning the growth of their global community and the JamboPhones :arrow_down_small:

Today, JamboTechnology announced a partnership with Coin98 to expand the JamboPhone’s reach in Southeast Asia.

I wonder if there will be any rewards from Aptos for purchasing this phone? :wink:

I am not aware of any. I know the phone will come preinstalled with Petra wallet and a few other apps, but thats about it. It may be part of other promotions in the future but I am not aware of any at the moment.
