Collateralizing a stable coin with only volatile assets is very risky imo. There should be multiple assets which are generally stable in price backing an on-chain stablecoin as well.

I totally agree! Some have used a combination of BTC, ETH, and other blue chip tokens to create a stable coin.

It would be hard to create on now because of all the current volatility in the market right now.

However, once the market rebalances itself, creating an over collateralized stable coin for creating LPs across all blockchains could be a profitable venture.

This is just an idea that came into my mind . I am not a blockchain developer and so I fully appreciate the fact that what I am proposing would be very complex thing to do.
