Neşe: Can you tell us about your project and its main objectives within the Aptos ecosystem?
Panana: We’ve created a high-frequency prediction platform where users don’t just watch the future unfold — they trade it. Whether it’s crypto price swings, sports outcomes, or pop culture events, Panana turns real-world moments into on-chain opportunities. Panana drives impact on Aptos by making on-chain participation fun, fast, and accessible for retail
users. Our high-frequency markets boost network activity and engagement. With XP, leaderboards, and daily challenges, we turn predictions into an addictive, gamified experience that keeps users coming back.
One of our game changers is turning prediction shares into real, composable tokens. You can hold both “YES” and “NO” shares at the same time, provide liquidity to earn fees, create markets, and even plug your tokens into other Aptos DeFi protocols. We chose Aptos because it’s the only chain that can support our speed and scale. Thanks to parallel execution and Move’s resource model, we’re able to run high-frequency markets without sacrificing performance or affordability. Neşe: What’s one thing about your project that you think would surprise people who aren’t familiar with it?
Panana: People usually expect prediction markets to be about betting or long-term forecasts. But what surprises them is that Panana also offers fast-paced predictions that resolve within minutes. We also offer multiple ways to earn money, not just by selling at a higher price.
For example, our users can earn fees from trades by providing liquidity, or launch new markets and benefit from the volume they generate. It’s like prediction meets protocol design.
Even more unexpected: our fastest markets which resolve every few minutes turn passive speculation into active gameplay — and it makes the whole experience feel more like DeFi meets TikTok than a traditional financial app.
Neşe: If your project were an animal, what would it be and why?
Panana: We wouldn’t be an animal at all — we’d be a banana. Specifically, Mr. Peeltos our legendary mascot and resident prediction mastermind. He’s sharp, stylish, and always one step ahead of the next market move. More than just a face, Mr. Peeltos embodies what Panana is all about: making forecasting fun, fast, and a little bit cheeky. He keeps the vibes high, the platform playful, and reminds everyone that serious predictions don’t have to take themselves too seriously.
Neşe: What’s the funniest or most unexpected thing that’s happened during your development process?
Panana: We once removed Mr. Peeltos, our banana mascot, during a rebrand to look more “professional.” The community was not happy. One user even asked if we had “killed Mr. Peeltos” in our Telegram group. That moment made it clear: fun and professionalism aren’t opposites. Just look at PancakeSwap: playful and trusted. Mr. Peeltos is part of our identity. He’s here to stay.
Neşe: What is your future plans?
Panana: We’re gearing up for our mainnet launch, followed by a rapid rollout of new market types including multi-outcome events, influencer-led markets, and permissionless market creation tools.
On the roadmap and soon to come:
● Leaderboard Seasons + XP-based rewards to boost engagement
● Deeper DeFi integrations so shares can be LP’d, borrowed, or used as collateral
● Allow multiple currencies to allow predictions using custom tokens, such as stables, APT,
and even meme-coins like Emojicoins
● Decentralized Oracle Council for community-based resolution
● Mobile notifications and improved integration in third party apps like Telegram to keep users
predicting in real-time
Our long-term vision is to make Panana the default prediction layer for crypto and culture while onboarding millions of new users to Aptos.
