Circle Wallets Now Support Aptos, Expanding Multichain Capabilities

Circle has officially expanded its Wallets infrastructure to support Aptos, the Move-based layer-1 blockchain known for its secure, scalable, and upgradeable architecture. With this development, Aptos developers now gain access to the same enterprise-grade wallet tools previously available to builders on EVM-compatible chains and Solana.

Through Circle Wallets, developers on Aptos can now generate user- or developer-controlled wallets via API or SDK, sponsor user gas fees using the integrated Gas Station—eliminating the need for APT acquisition—and leverage the Compliance Engine to automate real-time transaction screening. Furthermore, the infrastructure enables multichain app deployment using a single codebase.

The move comes amid surging developer activity on Aptos. According to Electric Capital’s recent report, Aptos is the second fastest-growing blockchain ecosystem with a 96% year-over-year increase in developer participation and nearly 2,000 active contributors. Onchain data reflects similar momentum, with stablecoin supply on the network exceeding $1 billion in March 2025—marking a tenfold growth in just one year.

By integrating Aptos, Circle aims to empower developers to scale stablecoin-enabled applications more securely and efficiently.

Interested developers can begin building today with free access to Wallets. For further support, Circle encourages joining their Discord community.
