Will Aptos surpass Sui?

I just watched an Altcoin Buzz video in which they were making the case that Sui is the number 1 blockchain using the Move programming language.

They pointed to The spread of transactions done on their platform.
They also spoke about the increasing TVL and also their increasing growth in the NFT market.
I know that Aptos has made giant strides in the NFT marketplace and has also attracted a lot of new projects and has made some great strategic alliances.
My question is will Aptos eventually overtake Sui as the number 1 blockchain on the Move language platform?

Great question. They’re similar, but only time will tell. Early on it seemed every Sui NFT project was a rug, so I was put off. I prefer Aptos.

Now it works fine, but another thing is that few people use it

there is sybil on all blockchain, aptos included. the reality is there is nothing that different between any MOVE chain. Aptos needs a killer app. You need that to attract users to the platform.

Three challengers that are SEI SUI APTOS.
SUI made people upset with the initial R drop (June-23) (becomes old enough to forget those bad times)
SEI is currently excluding many countries from staking.
APTOS seems much more community oriented with a major supply allocated to its community.
So naturally betting on Aptos.

Thanks for your detailed answer. I have never used any of the Sui dApps and so I don’t know how well their blockchain performs.

I was VERY disgusted by the way in which SEI handled its a-drop. I spent a lot of time completing all the challenges and collecting all the badges.

Then when the time came to do their a-drop they then said that I had to have a minimum of $500 deposited in the Leap wallet. This was a criteria that I was not willing to meet and so I didn’t qualify for the a-drop, which I later found out was very disappointing to those who received it.

Hopefully in time Aptos will prove itself to be the superior blockchain on the Move platform.

If that is the case why is Sui beating Aptos? It must mean that Sui have fixed the issues that they were initially having and are now able to attract more developers and thus more dApps and users.

Glad to see that Aptos price has risen substantially this past week. I am also very impressed with all that Aptos has been doing to grow its blockchain as well.
