i have 16 apt staked and this shows on govscan, how ever, when i attempt to vote it says i have no voting power. whats going on with this? has worked fine for a year or more previously

If your stake’s lockup period expires before the end of the proposal, it implies that your stake will not contribute to your voting power for this specific proposal. Need to wait for new proposals

no, i have the same issue now and have had it multiple times before and my stake lock up expiry date isn’t near. It’s probably a bug on govscan or something. Sometimes all I have to do is check back and it’ll be rectified, Sometimes the voting period ends and voting power still shows 0.

yes, this is the key. you just have to check back the next day. sometimes you can also try leaving the page open for a while and then your stake will appear. that worked for me yesterday on one vote but not the other.

yeah it’s a recurring issue and it’s usually the same old back and forth question and answers with the mods on discord. They always say they’ll find a solution but never do, they should take it up with govscan.

Also hold staked coins, but I can’t take a part in voting. Usually, extending the staking duration helps.
