Ethereum gas fees are still very high despite the upgrade. Any idea why this is so?
This upgrade is meant to increase trading volume on the Ethereum blockchain. Do you think this will still happen?
Of course bullish for all chain irrespective…of likewise bullish on Aptos as well…all coin just needed a new starting with bullish trends.

I think it’s massive for the whole space
At first glance the BTC halving means rewards for miners are cut in half. That means less BTC is issued. Thinking of supply and demand as main drivers for price action this sounds not too bad huh. Nevertheless, macro economics is super important too (inflation ↔ rate cuts, US election, war etc.). So on a short timeframe i don’t expect too much from the halving, but on a longer timeframe (months) it could get really interesting again. I mean the crypto market is cyclic and we might be at a point where we could potentially see some nice price action to the upside (not financial advice of course!). But again, this might take some time (months). Short term rallies and corrections might oc also happen as usual.
The Aptos ecosystem has been growing quite a lot lately, which is really nice. Don’t think the reason is the BTC halving though. We have awesome projects here, a great community and a nice tech stack.
Regarding your question of remaining high gas fees on ethereum. The latest upgrade mainly gave the ability to lower fees on the ethereum L2s via introducing a new tx type (blob txs). In essence a new place to store tx data has been established. Before the Dencun upgrade it was calldata and now L2s can also use blobs. The latter is much cheaper, hence it reduces fees for L2s. Some L2s like Scroll have still to update to make use of blobs though. Other L2s like eg. base, starknet etc. have already done that and significantly lowered tx costs.
