Hyperion is creating the unified liquidity and trading layer of the Aptos ecosystem combining swap aggregation, concentrated and dynamic liquidity market making (CLMM & DLMM), and vault strategies in one seamless experience.
From bold infrastructure to capybara-inspired community vibes, the team shares how they’re solving capital efficiency challenges and preparing for the future of decentralized finance on Aptos.
Neşe: Can you tell us about your project and its main objectives within the Aptos ecosystem.
Hyperion: Hyperion is designed to be the leading on-chain trading terminal within the Aptos ecosystem, supporting a broad range of DeFi initiatives and contributing to the foundational infrastructure of decentralized finance on Aptos.
From day one, Hyperion has focused on solving the challenges of liquidity efficiency in DeFi markets. At its core, it leverages Concentrated Liquidity Market Making (CLMM)—a model similar to Uniswap V3—to enable more capital-efficient and customizable trading strategies.
To further enhance user experience and yield generation, Hyperion has introduced VAULT, a supporting product that helps users manage their on-chain liquidity with ease and efficiency.
Hyperion is getting ready for our Launchpad going live. We are currently in discussions with potential partners to support token launches, aiming to bring more high-quality assets and attention to the Aptos ecosystem.
Our upcoming feature, DLMM (Dynamic Liquidity Market Maker), is currently in development and will further expand Hyperion’s capabilities—bringing even more precision and flexibility to the trading experience.
As you’ve probably noticed, capital efficiency is a central theme throughout our product suite. Whether for retail users or institutions, Hyperion is built to provide the most efficient and seamless on-chain trading experience possible.

Neşe: What’s one thing about your project that you think would surprise people who aren’t familiar with it?
Hyperion: One thing that might surprise the community is how yield is generated on Hyperion. At the time of writing, our xBTC assets are offering an APR of over 100% (with a current TVL of $4M), and the ECHO-APT liquidity pool’s APR exceeds 1300%. It’s entirely driven by trading volume and how efficiently that volume is handled relative to the total value locked (TVL) in each pool. This model allows users to earn passive yield directly from trading activity—and even more seamlessly through our Vault product, which automates liquidity management for optimal returns.
Neşe: Why did you choose Aptos as the blockchain to build on?
Hyperion: The community, the people, the foundation, and the technology — these four pillars are what guide us in building within the Aptos ecosystem.
The Community: The Aptos community stands out for being supportive, collaborative, and refreshingly low on toxicity. It’s full of passionate individuals who take initiative and are committed to expanding Aptos to a broader audience.
The People: From day one, we’ve had the opportunity to work with incredible partners—people who genuinely support one another and are open to collaboration. That openness has made building here feel like a team effort rather than a solo mission.
The Foundation: One of the most impressive aspects of Aptos is its foundation. The team is responsive, strategic, and moves quickly. They understand the broader ecosystem dynamics and play the long game with precision, like a well-executed chess match.

Neşe: What’s the funniest or most unexpected thing that’s happened during your development process?
Hyperion: Oh, definitely our naming drama. Back in the early days, we called ourselves Hyperfluid — we loved the dynamic, evolving feel of the name. But turns out, the crypto world heard something else entirely. People kept asking us if we were some secret sister project of Hyperliquid. We even got tagged in their community posts. At one point, someone joked we were their “younger, more volatile cousin.”
We realized it was time for a rebrand — not just to clear the confusion, but to better reflect the shift in our vision. So, we embraced the fire and became Hyperion. From flow to flame, the name now speaks to our renewed focus: bold, sovereign, and aligned with long-term conviction. And hey, at least now people stop mixing us up at dinner parties (mostly).

DLMM (Dynamic Liquidity Market Maker): Hyperion will enable a next-gen DLMM model as part of our evolving Vault infrastructure — designed to optimize on-chain yield and liquidity performance. This innovation allows dynamic curve strategies and better price execution, further pushing the boundaries of capital efficiency.
