The Aptos mission as per Aptos CEO Mo Shaikh has been to onboard the next billion users to Web3. This discussion revolved around what it will take to achieve this major milestone for the blockchain and web3 space. The panelists for this discussion included:

This discussion focused on the DeFi market share in Asia, a region that Aptos has been focused on as the crypto adoption in some of the Asian countries is outpacing those of other countries from other regions around the world. The following chart from Chainalysis shows the top countries by cryptocurrency value received from July 2022 to June 2023. This is but one of the metrics that gives an idea of the adoption taking place in around the world.
