In the thread, Dr. Grieskamp elaborates on the new Move compiler which is being developed in order to feature a more modern, flexible architecture that is unified with the Move prover (reminder that the paper for the Move prover entitled “Fast and Reliable Formal Verification of Smart Contracts with the Move Prover” won the Best Paper Award in 2022 from the European Association for Programming Languages and Systems: EAPLS: The EAPLS Best Paper Award 2022), enabling faster innovation from the Move community on Aptos.
This new compiler will support Move 2, which will be the next generation of Move language on Aptos !
Developers can help with beta testing and they can win awards with the bug bounty program.
