When you say link what exactly are you referring to?
What happened is that my MacBook crashed and I had to restore it. After I restored it I tried to open my Pontem wallet when I clicked on it it said that it was locked.

I thought that meant that I needed to enter the username and password. But it turned out that I was requiring me to re-enter my seed phrase.

I then proceeded to enter the seed phrase and then the password, when I clicked on the submit button I got an error message saying that my wallet was not found.

I re-checke my seed phrase and entered it again, but it said that the wallet could not be found. I even tried doing it with a different password and still it couldn’t find my wallet.

I have my seed phrases saved on a secondary place and so I compared that seed phrase with the one I had been using and they were identical.

It this point I was quite alarmed because I could no longer restore my wallet. I am CERTAIN that I wrote down the right seed phrase and then wrote it down a second time so that I would have a back up copy.

As you know, when a seed phrase is generated you are required to confirm that you have written it down correctly before proceeding to complete setting it up. I did this.

So this is why i say my wallet w as hacked. I don’t have any other way to describe what happened.

Here is something that is even stranger I found out that there is also an Aptos wallet. Out of curiosity and a sense of blind hope I tried to set up this wallet with my Pontem wallet seed phrase amend it accepted it.

When I opened it there were no tokens in it. I have NEVER used an Aptos wallet. I find at about the Aptos blockchain because I was one of the foundation members of their discord group and thus was a recipient of there initial reward given to the foundation members.

It was in the discord that I found out about the Pontem wallet. I was also an early member of their discord as well.

This is my story.

@cryptotips
Do you still have your wallet address (public key)? You could look in explorer to see if your assets have been moved, if you have been hacked they should be gone, if they have not been moved you have probably just entered your seed phrase incorrectly and you could try entering the correct one. i wish you good luck https://explorer.aptoslabs.com/

have you already raised your case in dicord support?
but be careful with scamer, even here in the forum, nobody will ever ask you for your seed phrase !!!
